We expect the Swedish Schools Inspectorate to make a decision on the permit by September 30, 2025, and for the necessary municipal approvals to be finalized during the autumn of 2025. If we are granted permission to open the school, we will begin the admission process as soon as the decisions are made. We will apply admission criteria approved by the Schools Inspectorate. We consider it both natural and valuable that students currently attending Nakterhusskolan should have the opportunity to continue their education under our management if they wish. We will work to facilitate this within the framework of existing regulations. Based on our extensive experience, we have high expectations of succeeding in this transition. Additionally, we warmly welcome other students to join the school. The school is designed as a three-stream F–6 primary school, and we are also excited to welcome children from our own and other preschools into the pre-primary class. The responsible school director for the new school will be Fatima Messili, an accomplished school leader with extensive and proven experience. The recruitment of a principal will take place as soon as the necessary permits and approvals are in place. In early 2026, we will conduct the recruitment of staff for the new school. We set high expectations for our employees, as working with children’s education is one of the most important roles in society. Our goal is to hire qualified teachers, and at our most recently established school in Nynäshamn, 93% of the teachers hold a teaching qualification. We have also learned from Nakterhusskolan’s guardians that the educators there are of a very high standard, which is great to hear. Therefore, we will welcome applications from these educators with great interest and high expectations. We always offer competitive, market-based salaries, which will of course also apply to staff at RWS Vega.

During the spring of 2026, we will conduct several preparatory activities for students and guardians to ensure a smooth transition before the school opens in August. Among other measures, we will establish contact with students’ current teachers to gather as much handover information as possible. The goal is to gain a thorough understanding of the student body before the school year begins. The school will open in mid-August 2026, and our aim is to deliver high-quality education from day one. When we launched RWS Järvastaden in 2017—now home to nearly 800 students—we received a clean report from the Schools Inspectorate’s establishment review less than a year after opening. Since then, we have further refined our expertise in launching new schools. Our experienced school leadership will be supported by a strong organizational structure and highly skilled staff to ensure success. In August 2024, we successfully launched RWS Källberga in Nynäshamn Municipality. Within just over a month, we had gained a solid understanding of students’ knowledge levels. Since then, we have worked systematically to address learning gaps from their previous schools. Early guardian surveys indicate that parents are very satisfied with our efforts in the first year, confirming our ability to establish high-quality education from the start.
