Raoul Wallenberg School has taken a significant step in its digital development with the launch of a new website and an updated visual identity.
Welcome to Knivsta’s newest and most beautiful pre-school! With four departments and space for 70 children, we provide a safe, unique, and high-quality education where we focus on character-building and development to help children become the best version of themselves. Our preschool’s values are incredibly important to us, and our highly trained, wonderful educators work in ways that are exploratory, stimulating, supportive, and encouraging, with a strong emphasis on children’s language development.
The first five years of a child’s life are crucial for language development, and with the help of Babblarna and the Bornholm Model, we achieve our ambitious goals. Our education also integrates mathematics, creativity, music, technology, and natural sciences. Sustainability, waste sorting with the help of Sopsamlarmonstren, and outdoor activities are central to our daily pedagogical work with the children.
By dividing the group into smaller units, we ensure that every child receives the support and attention they need. Every child is heard, valued, and understood. We always keep the child’s best interests at heart, building trust between the children and educators.
We maintain high quality because we have high expectations of everyone—children, parents, staff, and management. At our preschool, we take children seriously and always put their well-being and development first.

The municipality’s queue system
RWF Knivsta incorporates Pelle Svanslös and his friends into our daily pedagogical teaching, as they perfectly embody our four guiding principles. Our department names include Pelle Svanslös and Maja Gräddnos, I, as the principal, am referred to as Gunsan, we have our very own restaurant called Trisse’s Deli, and a spacious, creative art room named Gullan’s Atelier.
These thematic elements bring a sense of joy and familiarity to the preschool environment, inspiring creativity and reinforcing the values we hold dear in a fun and engaging way!
RWF Knivsta cares deeply for our planet, its animals, and nature. We also place a high value on well-being and health. That’s why we have our own fantastic chef who prepares nutritious lunches for the children.
This commitment is harmonized with our gardening activities, where we grow plants together with the children. They experience the life cycle of plants by planting seeds, nurturing them with care, water, and sunlight, harvesting the produce, enjoying it in meals, and starting the cycle again by planting new seeds.
RWF Knivsta enjoys a fantastic location, close to both the forest and the central areas of Knivsta.
RWF Knivsta is situated in a newly developed area in central Knivsta, a town that is growing and evolving. It takes only a few minutes to reach the preschool from the commuter train station, and just a stone’s throw away lies Ängbyskogen, a wonderful forest to explore and enjoy.
With a short walk, we can reach the library, the sports facility CIK, and a nearby playground, providing ample opportunities for enriching activities and outdoor adventures.
The pre-school’s outdoor environment is incredibly inspiring and encourages play and movement. Children can drive toy cars and trains, swing, visit our horse paddock and sandbox kiosk, engage in play and sports on the artificial turf, cycle on the asphalt, perform on our stage, and explore our very own fenced adventure forest.
Our indoor environment welcomes you with spacious, open areas featuring “rooms within rooms.” We have a cozy reading corner, gathering and rest rooms, and an art studio on the upper floor with wonderful natural light and a beautiful view. The hygiene facilities are equipped with height-adjusted sinks and miniature toilets.
We design our inspiring learning environments across the floors, walls, and ceilings to create a magical and inviting atmosphere that fosters comfort and learning.
