The climb to the top

For us, learning is a holistic process where we intertwine the development of children’s and students’ knowledge, social skills, and character traits. Our ambition is to prepare them for a rapidly changing society—both locally and globally—through individual-focused education. To achieve this, children and students need a cohesive and well-integrated schooling experience with a clear sense of continuity.

Therefore, we offer a seamless educational journey and a climb toward each individual’s full potential, from preschool to grade 9. We base our approach on 21st Century Skills, an educational framework developed by international organizations, which outlines the knowledge, social skills, and character traits required in a fast-paced future society. Each stage of education—preschool, primary school, middle school, and secondary school—has specific responsibilities in supporting students’ climb to the top and reaching their full potential.

Preschool

In preschool, the focus is on care, security, and the development of fundamental character traits. Building the child’s self-confidence is central. We also place great emphasis on language development, ensuring that each child leaves preschool with a sufficient vocabulary. Additionally, we initiate the development of reading, writing, and basic numeracy skills. Many of our children crack the reading code as early as preschool.

Lower primary school

In lower primary school, the focus is on students’ reading, writing, and numeracy skills, as well as other subject-specific knowledge. We continue to develop students’ character traits based on our core values and build further on their self-confidence.

Our ambition is for all students to achieve the assessment of Acceptable in Mathematics and Swedish in grades 1, 2, and 3, with a significant proportion achieving More than Acceptable, exceeding the requirements of the Swedish National Agency for Education’s curriculum. In grade 3, our goal is for all students to pass the national exams.

Middle Primary School

In middle school, knowledge in the core subjects of English, Mathematics, and Swedish is further developed and deepened, building on the strong foundation established in preschool and lower primary school. Teaching is intensified and expanded in the science subjects, social studies, and practical aesthetic subjects. We continue to foster students’ character development based on our core values while further enhancing their self-confidence.

Our ambition is for all students to achieve the assessment of Acceptable in English, Mathematics, and Swedish in grades 4 and 5, with a significant proportion achieving More than Acceptable, exceeding the Swedish National Agency for Education’s curriculum requirements. In grade 6, our goal is for all students to achieve at least a passing grade in both their overall marks and national exams, with a substantial number attaining an A grade.

Lower Secondary School

In lower secondary school, knowledge in the core subjects of English, Mathematics, and Swedish is further developed and deepened, building on the solid foundation established earlier in the learning journey. Teaching is intensified and expanded in the science subjects, social studies, modern languages, and practical aesthetic subjects. We continue to foster the development of students’ character traits based on our core values and further strengthen each student’s self-confidence.

Our ambition is for all students to achieve at least passing grades in all subjects in grades 7, 8, and 9, including the national exams. A significant proportion should attain A grades. All students should graduate grade 9 with eligibility for upper secondary school.
