Our teaching

We value good orderliness in our lessons very highly, starting in pre-school and continuing throughout compulsory school. Before the start of class, pupils line up outside the classroom, and at the first lesson of the school day, the teacher greets each of them individually. Before the lesson starts, pupils stand behind their desks until the teacher welcomes them and starts the lesson.

On the lesson card in our school platform Admentum and/or on the classroom whiteboard, the teacher has prepared the lesson with information about the content and objectives of the lesson, as well as the expected feedback from the pupil. All lessons begin with a short or longer talk by the teacher on the content and objectives of the lesson. Students then complete their own work, and the lesson ends with a summary of the lesson or expected feedback from the pupils.
